Background

I’m an eighth-generation Texan. I graduated from Trinity Lutheran School in Klein and Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball. I also reached the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America Troop 1333.

Before I became a lawyer, I worked as a mechanical engineer for an engineering consulting firm in Houston. I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination and became certified as an Engineer-in-Training by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.

I earned my law degree from Baylor Law School, where I helped clients with patent, trademark, and copyright matters through the Baylor Law School Intellectual Property Law Clinic, a pro bono legal aid service. I was also the president of Baylor’s chapter of the Christian Legal Society.

Today, I focus my practice on estate planning, probate, intellectual property, and business law. I enjoy working directly with clients to help them protect what they’ve built and plan for the future.
